DEANNA JENT (Playwright) is the Artistic Director of Mustard Seed Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Professor of Theatre at Fontbonne University. Other writing for the stage includes adaptations of the novels Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis, and Imaginary Jesus by Matt Mikalatos. Falling was developed at Mustard Seed Theatre in the fall of 2011 and won the 2012 Kevin Kline Award for Best New Play. In addition, she won the Kevin Kline Award for Best Director of a Musical for her production of Godspell.  Deanna is a free-lance director and a former theatre critic for the Riverfront Times.

LORI ADAMS (Director)a native Nebraskan, comes to New York City via Illinois where she is the Head of the Acting Program at Illinois State University. She directed the premiere of Falling at the Mustard Seed Theatre in St. Louis, MO where it was awarded the 2012 Kevin Kline Award for Best New Play. She directed Fires in the Mirror at Mustard Seed Theatre in 2010. A lover of character-driven realism, her directing credits at ISU include The Grapes of Wrath, Picnic, To Kill a Mockingbird, Crimes of the Heart, A View From the Bridge, and The Diary of Anne Frank. Her coaching of the Irene Ryan actors for the American College Theatre Festival has garnered participation in the Kennedy Center National Festival five years in a row. As an actor she has appeared in Richard III, Macbeth and Henry VIII at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival.

TERRY SCHNUCK (Producer) is a four-time Tony Award winning producer, whose credits include The Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess (2012 Tony® Award, Best Revival), Clybourne Park (2012 Tony® Award, Best Play), Bonnie & Clyde, Hair (2009 Tony® Award, Best Revival of a Musical), High, Race, Superior Donuts, Burn the Floor, Blithe Spirit, The Homecoming, Spring Awakening (2007 Tony® Award, Best Musical), Martin Short – Fame Becomes Me, The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, ‘night Mother, and Enchanted April. Off-Broadway credits include Silence! the Musical, Wanda’s World and Ministry of Progress. He is currently Executive Producer of The Manhattan Monologue Slam and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for The MUNY, the nation’s oldest and largest outdoor musical theatre.

JAMES & CATHERINE BERGES (Producer) are longtime residents of St. Louis where they are active supporters of Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. Most recently they produced High on Broadway with Kathleen Turner.

CRYSTAL BEUERLEIN (Producer) is thrilled to be a first time co-producer and part of the St. Louis contingent. Thank you to Deanna, Lori and Terry for allowing me the opportunity to come to learn so much. Thanks to my family and friends for laughing with me through this unbelievable experience; and to my incredibly wonderful husband, John, for giving me the best birthday present ever!

MICHAEL & NOEMI NEIDORFF (Producers) have been active members of the St. Louis community since 1985. Mr. Neidorff, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Centene Corporation, is an experienced executive with a record of accomplishments in both starting and managing healthcare enterprises. He currently serves on the boards of directors of several arts and civic organizations including the National Urban League and Trinity University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Brown Shoe Company, Inc., a NYSE-listed company. Ms. Neidorff serves on several boards as well, including the Executive Committee, Saint Louis Symphony; ViceChairman, Missouri Historical Society; and the Saint Louis Art Museum. She is Chairman of the Radio Arts Advocacy Council and has been appointed a Commissioner on the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis. Ms. Neidorff is on the Executive Committee of the National Symphony and also serves as Co-Chairman of the Kennedy Center’s International Committee on the Arts.

JOHN C. STARK (Scenic Design) designed the premiere of Falling for the Mustard Seed Theatre in St. Louis last fall and he’s delighted to be working on the show at Minetta Lane. He is a Professor of Theatre at Illinois State University. John recently designed his 26th production for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. He also has worked in Chicago for Drury Lane Theatre, A Red Orchid Theatre, Victory Gardens, Next Theatre, Seannachi Theatre and Noble Fool Theatricals and at the New Jewish Theatre in St. Louis. His 1997 design for Famous Door Theatre’s The Living garnered a Jeff Award for Excellence in Scenic Design. John has also worked in his native Nebraska and in Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Missouri.

She has designed the lighting for Victory Gardens Theater, A Red Orchid Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace, Noble Fool Theatricals, Skylight Opera Theatre, Famous Door Theatre, Chicago College for the Performing Arts, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, and eight seasons with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Julie is also a co-founder of the Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre in Fairbanks, Alaska.

RAYMOND SCHILKE (Sound Design).
